Design elements

On the case back engraves the General Rabbit wearing Mountain Pattern Armour, and on the side is the Chinese character "卯" in the form of small seal script, which means "Mao", it is in the 4th position in the Twelve Earthly Branches, same as the Rabbit in the 4th position in the twelve Chinese Zodiac signs.

Patterns of the Mountain Pattern Armour at center of the watch dial. The Mountain Pattern Armour was popular in Tang, Song and Ming dynasties, people learned about it through statues, paintings and ancient books, yet no real Mountain Pattern Armour was unearthed, so it still remains a mystery to some extent.

Mirror Armour or Disc Armour at 12 o'clock on the watch dial. This type of armour was used to protect the chest from arrows.
