ORIGINATE - HOME LINKER

创历者 · 贝壳定制款

Brand: Shanghai (上海). [Version: home linker edition; Diameter 39 mm] Launch date: 2025-December-Date?

This model recreates the Shanghai A581 wristwatch, originally introduced in 1958 as the Shanghai Watch Factory’s first commercial watch. At 12 o’clock on the dial is the same building-shaped logo found on the original A581, resembling the Chinese characters for “Shanghai” (上海).

At 6 o’clock, the dial bears the inscription “home linker,” a term associated with Beike that can be loosely interpreted as “someone who connects people with better living.” This watch was commissioned from Shanghai Watch by Beike (贝壳), a Chinese housing-services company, as a gift for its employees. According to Beike’s official ESG report, “Homelinker” specifically refers to employees who have been with the company for more than ten years and are committed to practicing and passing on its corporate values.

The caseback is engraved with “坚持做难而正确的事,” meaning “Persist in doing what is difficult but right,” a core principle of Beike’s corporate culture. The engraved date “2001.11.12” marks the founding of Lianjia Baoye (链家宝业), the predecessor of Lianjia (链家), from which Beike originated.
