The pattern on the crown features the emblem of the “Northeast Old Aviation School (东北老航校)”, originally established in 1946 as the Northeast Democratic Allied Forces Aviation School (东北民主联军航空学校), and later renamed the Northeast People’s Liberation Army Aviation School (东北人民解放军航空学校) in 1948. It is widely regarded as the cradle of China’s aviation forces.

Limited to 1,949 pieces, the engraved scene on the case back commemorates a historic moment during the 1949 founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China, when pilots from the Northeast Old Aviation School flew fighter aircraft over the Tiananmen Rostrum, marking a defining milestone in the early development of China’s air force.
