Blossoms (in Chinese: 繁花) is a novel about stories in Shanghai city from the 1960s to 1990s. The patterns on the watch dial was inspired by the carved patterns on the wall of the Saint Nicholas' Church in Shanghai, and the church is an important location showed up in the novel.
